LATEST INFORMATIONDECEMBER 7, 2023
The concrete column installation is complete. The vertical wick drain installation is finished on the west side of the roadway and will continue on the east side of Rodenburg through early next week. Once this ground improvement work is finished, we will start installing the new embankments that will help raise the roadway to the final elevations. NOVEMBER 30, 2023
The concrete column installation started this week and should wrap up Friday, December 1. We will move to vertical wick drain installation on the west side of the road early next week. When we have completed that work and given the concrete columns some time to solidify, we will move back to the east side of the roadway. Once this ground improvement work is finished, we will start installing the new embankments that will help raise the roadway to the final elevations. ComEd’s team completed work on their underground vault at Timberleaf Circle North this week and will open Timberleaf Circle North Monday, December 4. NOVEMBER 21, 2023
The vertical wick drain installation should start right after the holiday weekend. We expect the work to start with the installation of concrete support columns on the east side of the road. ComEd’s team is finishing up work at the vault at Timberleaf Circle North. We expect to see them fill in the area around the vault with stone and temporary concrete next week. They will remove their equipment and open the roadway to traffic. NOVEMBER 16, 2023
The vertical wick drain installation should start in the next few weeks. We are working with ComEd to confirm a few dates so we can safely install the drains near the aerial lines along the west side of Rodenburg. ComEd’s team moved to their underground vault at Timberleaf Circle North this week. They will have Timberleaf Circle North closed completely during their workdays and open to one lane of traffic to exit westbound overnight and on weekends. |
