We continue to install the new storm sewer system north of the railroad tracks. We now expect that work to finish in the next two weeks letting us relocate equipment south of the tracks to continue the storm sewer work. Expect to see Metra crews continue their signal replacement. Intren crews are working for ComEd to help adjust their power cables for the new storm sewer crossings and the new roadway pavement. We will start the new storm sewer system installation on Monday, April 22. That work will start just north of the Metra tracks and continue north towards Irving Park Road. You may also see Metra crews moving in/out of the closed roadway as they prepare to replace their signals and build the new pedestrian signal crossing at the railroad tracks. |
